Academics at St. Anne School
St. Anne Catholic School is fully accredited by the South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA) and the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. We offer small classes, a carefully planned and frequently reviewed curriculum, and qualified, experienced, and caring faculty members.
Pre-Elementary School
(4-K & Kindergarten)
St. Anne is committed to ensuring that a child's first experience in school is positive and fun. In our 4-K program, students are encouraged to learn through age appropriate play while developing necessary social and intellectual skills through group and self-directed activities. Kindergarten students are motivated to begin exploring their academic potential through an increased emphasis on language, mathematics, and reading readiness.
Elementary School (1st - 4th grade)
St. Anne's elementary program is designed to excite students about learning and prime them for success at an early age. Students master the academic and spiritual skills they will need to develop a strong educational foundation. In an integrated approach, the elementary school educational curriculum emphasizes phonics based reading and writing, mathematics, religion, computer literacy, natural sciences, social sciences, physical education, and the arts.
Middle School (5th - 8th grade)
St Anne's middle school curriculum is designed to prepare students for the increased academic rigors of secondary education at the high school level. Students are challenged to engage in abstract reasoning and develop leadership skills. Building on the foundations established in the elementary program, emphasis is placed on mathematics, English, computer development, religion, and sciences.
