Standardized Test Scores and Student Achievments

Standardized Test Scores

Each year, St. Anne Catholic School students take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) standardized test. The ITBS (http://www.education.uiowa.edu/itp/itbs/) is administered to public and private school children across the country every year. Therefore, the results of these tests provide parents with information about how our students are performing relative to other students throughout the nation.

St. Anne Catholic School students have continually performed well above the national average on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills standardized test.

Other Awards

Our students have excelled in academic competitions and received a number of academic awards, including:

  • Reader's Digest Word Power Challenge National Finalists
  • 2nd Place in SCISA State Math Meet
  • 1st Place in the SCISA Regional Quiz Bowl
  • VFW Patriot Pen Essay Winners
  • Regional Spelling Bee Winners
  • University of South Carolina-Sumter Junior Scholars

Alumni Achievement

Perhaps the best measure of a St. Anne education is the quality of its student alumni. A number of our alumni have gone on to become the valedictorians of their senior high school classes at various local high schools, most recently in 2008. Others have excelled in high school on academic and athletic teams and earned Palmetto Scholarships for college. We are proud of their accomplishments and proud to have provided the educational foundation for their continuing success.
