Traditions
Traditions help Saint Anne Catholic School to celebrate and acknowledge important events, and they keep the students rooted in what matters most. Saint Anne Catholic School has been fostering student life traditions since 1953.
From the opening day prayer service in August around the flagpole to the All Saints Day costume contest and the beautiful Litany of the Saints in November the students are reminded of their unique faith heritage.
The remarkable Christmas Program has become a holiday tradition anticipated by students, parents and the Sumter community each December. Students perform a selection of music that focuses exclusively on the Christian theme of the Christmas holiday.
Spring brings the Junior Beta Club induction ceremony which has parents recognizing their children who are school leaders.
The lovely May Crowning is an annual Mass with the students offering an abundance of flowers honoring Mary.
These and many other wonderful time-honored traditions at Saint Anne Catholic School give strength to the foundation the parents and faculty strive to foster.
