Support St. Anne Catholic School
Our school would not be the special place it is without the many wonderful parents, grandparents, parishioners, and other friends who so generously give their time, money, and talents to St. Anne School. It is through the generosity and volunteer efforts of our families and church parishioners that we are able to provide students with the best education possible while simultaneously keeping our tuition as affordable as possible.
Those wishing to make a financial or material donation to St. Anne Catholic School can do so through the school office. Donors may specify a particular cause or may make an unrestricted donation to the general school fund. We greatly appreciate the financial and material gifts donated by parents, grandparents, parishioners, and other school supporters.
Fundraising Activities
Parent groups provide financial assistance for the school through various fundraising projects, enhancing the overall quality of the school. The Parent-Teacher Organization and school-board subcommittees are the major organizations that conduct fundraising activities. Student organizations and groups also conduct fundraisers to help fund their activities. All fundraising requires the approval of the administration, regardless of the sponsoring group.
School fundraisers include but are not limited to the following: the Annual Auction, Crusade for Christ 5-K Run, Spirit Nights (see Booster Club page), Box Tops for Education, and the school store.
Annual Auction
St. Anne Catholic School's Annual Auction, held at the O'Donnell House, is the school's biggest fundraiser of the year. St. Anne depends on the generous donations of corporate sponsorships, friends, families, parishioners, and small community businesses. If you would like to volunteer to help, or you need additional info, please contact the school office.
Crusade for Christ 5-K
The St. Anne School Crusade for Christ 5-K is an annual event held in the fall by the PTO to raise funds for the school. It's a great family event that runners and walkers of every ability level can participate in - from the serious marathon runner to those who walk with strollers. Last year we had over 100 runners, and everyone had a great time!
Funds raised by past races have been used to supplement the technology department of the school. Funds raised have enabled the purchase of-- among other things-a new computer server, new computers for the classrooms, a smart board, a state of the art projector screen, and a document projector.
A great deal of planning goes into the race, from designing t-shirts, obtaining sponsors, gathering door prizes and soliciting volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or would like to run or walk, we'd love to hear from you! For further information, please email Laura Mossell at lmossell@hotmail.com
